Barcelona, Spain - Antoni Gaudi's creations

Gaudi's Sagrada Familia is a highlight of Barcelona, it was started in 1883, and has yet to be finished. They say it will be another 20 years....I guess we should start planning a trip for 2028!






This shows the sun shining through a window and the scaffolding inside the Familia









































We went up in one of the towers of the Familia. Gaudi's main influence was in the shapes of things in nature and used it in his designs...you can see the shell in his stairs


One of the doors to enter the FamiliaA closer look reveals fruit at the top of the towersThe columns inside the Familia are like giant trees with branches reaching up into the heavens


We went to Parc Guell where many of Gaudi's works are...
