Next Singapore

The end of November was the beginning of our life in Singapore.  Just 88 miles from the equator, the weather here is hot and humid, with lots of rain so far.  They say the hot season starts in Feb. But, Singapore has a solution for the heat, there are underground tunnels running from hotels, to malls and mass transit stations.  I counted 6 (there may be more) different malls and 3 transit stations that we can walk to without ever going outside.  Some of the malls have grocery stores.  The variety of restaurants here is super, a great place for foodies!  Shopping is a popular activity here, every neighborhood has the same multiple mall, transit tunnel-type system and every store you could every need.

False mosc at the Taj Mahal.  This one was only built for symmetry, it was never used since it faces the wrong direction.
