Got a little sun, this is Macek, a friend from Krakow.

Saw these beautiful birds...my pictures were against the sun,

so I found better ones on the web. It's a blue-throated bee eater.

Bohol

On our trip to Bohol we stayed on Panglao Island

On a tour, "Treaty of Friendship" between Datu Sikatuna,

a native chieftain, and Don Miguel Lopez de Legazpi, a Spaniard

representing the King of Spain, was held on March 16, 1565.

Our guide called this the "stupid bridge" because the plans had been to build right through a historical landmark church...needless to say it ended before it got that far.
